Five places where Paris reveals itself, close to the hotel

What if we stepped out arm in arm for a stroll around the hotel?
This month, we’re sharing five places located less than a 15-minute walk away — each with an immediate charm.
From the Pont des Arts at dawn, the lively Rue Sainte-Anne at lunchtime, to the quiet majesty of the Palais-Royal… discover five typically Parisian spots we particularly love, all just a short walk from the hotel.

Pont des Arts at sunrise

For those willing to wake before the sun, the Pont des Arts offers a magical early morning view.
The Seine still quiet, the Louvre on your left, the Institut de France just behind… and that rare feeling of having Paris almost to yourself.
No music, no crowd, nothing to disturb the scenery — only the city slowly awakening before your eyes.
From the hotel, plan about a 15-minute walk to reach the bridge.

La rue Sainte-Anne à l’heure du déjeuner

At noon, Rue Sainte-Anne is a must for discovering some of the best Asian eateries in the city.
As lunchtime begins, the offices in the area empty out, and the street quickly fills with energy. Lines start forming outside Japanese and Korean counters… everyone heading to their favourite spot!
It’s just 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

Palais-Royal in late afternoon

Buren’s graphic columns, classical façades, perfectly laid-out garden… the Palais-Royal is among the most iconic places in Paris.
Passing under its arch, people speak more softly, walk more slowly, as if the setting naturally required calm.
It’s so beautiful it feels like stepping into a film scene — perhaps something by Rohmer.
We recommend visiting at golden hour, when the façades turn completely golden 🥐
You’ll get there in about 10 minutes on foot.

Place Édouard VII at dusk

Few visitors know this little square tucked between Opéra and Madeleine.
At nightfall, it reveals a special charm: the soft glow of the lampposts, the illuminated theatre, the quiet terraces where conversations grow softer.
It instantly feels far from the buzz of the main boulevards.
This discreet, almost confidential corner of Paris is wonderfully poetic at dusk, just 7 minutes from the hotel.

Bonus: Galerie Vivienne, on a rainy day

Galerie Vivienne, 9 minutes on foot from the hotel, is a magical place to walk through — especially on a rainy day.
Beneath its glass roof, sounds soften: the clinking of cups, the quiet footsteps of those seeking shelter, the gentle echoes of conversation.
You could stay there for hours, just observing the shops, the mosaics, and feeling the enduring Belle Époque charm.
Incidentally, galleries were originally created so bourgeois women could stroll among the shops without dirtying their fine dresses on rainy days.
