This is the perfect spot for a poetic picture.
A soft breeze of poetry has been noted in the Palais-Royal’s Garden over the last few years. Along allée Collette and allée Jean Cocteau, you can find “poetry benches” scattered around the Palais-Royal’s Garden, which was often by the two artists.
The wood of the benches is engraved with the beautiful phrases of not only Collette and Jean Cocteau, but also Tristan Tzara and Stéphane Mallarmé, in invitation for visitors and dreamers alike to walk amongst the poets.
Our favorite phrase: “Un secret a toujours la forme d’une oreille” (A secret is always shaped like an ear) by Jean Cocteau

Located right next to the Palais-Royal’s Garden, these 260 black and white-striped, octagonal columns are one of the symbols of Paris.
Their slender design and symmetrical structure make any picture fabulous (it’s magical). Their differing heights makes taking photos at different angles much more fun!

One cannot simply talk about Paris without talking about the Opera.
Located in the area after which it is named, Opéra Garnier is one of the city’s patrimonial flowers, built at the end of the 19th century during one of Baron Haussmann’s major projects.
As a high place of culture in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, it’s magnificent architecture in an ideal place to photograph the essence of Paris. Even better? It’s only a 4-minute walk away from the hotel.
Place de l’Opéra
You don’t even have to enter to admire the museum’s beautiful glass pyramid! The Louvre is one of the most emblematic places in Paris, and only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
Any photo taken there is spectacular, be it during the day or at night. It’s even more magnificent when the rain plays with the lights.

The rooftop of the Galeries Lafayette means a breathtaking and dizzying view over all of Paris. When the sun sets, go up to the Galeries’s 8th floor and strike a pose amongst the city’s skyline.
